A Notice of Proposed Action is the written notice a representative acting under full authority sends to interested parties before taking a significant action, such as selling the home, without court supervision. It describes what you intend to do, including the property, the price, and how any commission is calculated, and the date on or after which you will act.

The notice must be mailed or delivered at least 15 days before the action. Recipients, such as beneficiaries and heirs, can consent, do nothing, or object. If someone objects in writing, the sale then requires court supervision. Handled correctly, this notice is what lets a full-authority sale close without a confirmation hearing.
